Margaret D. (Peggy) Moore retired from PepsiCo in 2007 after almost 34 years with the company and brings global board level corporate, treasury and human resources experience in the food and beverage industry.
She joined PepsiCo in 1973 as a Treasury Analyst, becoming Assistant Treasurer and the first female officer at PepsiCo within two years. Over the next decade she held positions of increasing responsibility in both the Corporate and Beverage divisions, including eight years in a variety of human resource assignments both domestically and internationally. In 1987 Ms. Moore was named Vice President, Investor Relations for PepsiCo. While running Investor Relations, PepsiCo was frequently named as the best IR function both nationally and in the beverage industry. In 1998 she was appointed Senior Vice President and Treasurer of The Pepsi Bottling Group (PBG) when it was formed in the latter part of 1998. Her primary duties at the time were to establish the Treasury function for PBG and help take the company public. After a year with PBG, she was named Senior Vice President of Human Resources (HR) for PepsiCo. In this position, she was responsible for PepsiCo’s human resources function globally, including all succession planning, recruitment, compensation and benefits, and training and development work as well as two CEO transitions. Peggy has served on the Boards of two public companies, the Pepsi Bottling Group and Michael Foods.
Mrs. Moore has an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Columbia Business School and a BA in economics from Smith College.
